Not only does Mypex groundcover protect from competing weeds encroaching on your new hedging or trees, it also provides the perfect base for decorative mulching, such as stones or bark chips.
Planting with Mypex weed control fabric is simple. Prepare your planting hole as normal and lay your groundcover over the hole. Then, using a sharp knife, cut an ‘X’ into the fabric above the corresponding hole and plant your plants through the hole in the fabric.
Mypex weed control fabric is ordered by the metre and is 1 metre wide. So, if you are planting a hedge that is 8m long, you would order 8 ‘units’ of Mypex and receive an 8m by 1m piece of ground cover fabric.
