Exposure/Position: Salt-tolerant, ideal for exposed and coastal sites.

Soil: Well-drained, adaptable to most soils.

Moisture: Medium. Once it is established, this plant is likely to only require watering during drier periods. Elaeagnus is drought-tolerant once established

Habit: Dense, upright evergreen shrub, compact and neat.

Foliage: Evergreen. Glossy dark green with silvery undersides. Always in leaf throughout the year. It won't lose all its leaves at any one time.

Maintenance: Low. Trim annually to maintain size and shape.
